Phoenix
Star:
Phoenix Lead:
William is an
expert tactician, and fearless leader. He leads the Phoenix star into
battle successfully. He is roughly thirty years old, but not much else
is known about him. His favorite battlemech is
the Blood Asp omnimech known as the
Harbinger. He loves
the thrill of close-quarters combat, and the Harbinger shows it. For a
semi-decent long-range capability, it uses a LRM-10 with Artemis IV
functionality. Medium ranges bring its lasers into
play, and
at close range the Harbinger becomes the lord of battle. Where most
Blood Asp models use Gauss Rifles or sets of
small-caliber
Ultra Autocannons, the Harbinger uses two 125mm Ultra Autocannon 20s.
It carries at least six tons of ammo for the guns, and is truly
terrifying when facing smaller 'mechs. Pilot

Phoenix Two:
For a long time, Adams, a warrior of the Draconis Combine Mustered
Soldiery, did not receive any recognition for his battlefield
skills. His family, a disgraced clan from an ancient Earth, had
committed a grave act of treachery against Kurita. They had sided with
House Davion in a minor territorial dispute. One day, while in a local
Kurita bar, Adams was approached by a strange Mechwarrior. William
offered Adams recognition, fame, and battles if Adams would join the
Pale Horse Mercenaries. Adams' 'mech of choice is the UZL-2S Uziel. The
twin PPCs make an excellent weapon at long range or short range,
tearing through even the heaviest armor with ease. For shorter ranges,
he uses his SRM-6 launcher and machine guns.Pilot

Phoenix Three:
Vladamir, a long-time Steiner loyal, was rejected from their military
for being "too weak, too slow, and too small." He is very short, at
only five feet and six inches tall, but he is, perhaps, the most
important member of the Pale Horse Mercenaries. Vladamir is the lead
Situational Analyzer for the Phoenix
Star,
and is vital to many missions. There have been several
missions
where William would have died if not for Vladamir's strategical skills.
His preferred weapon reflects on this. The CPLT-C1 Catapult is a
ranged-weapon, not suitable for close combat. Vladamir uses his LRMs
and jump jets to stay out of reach of the enemy while providing
tactical data for the star.

Phoenix Four:
During the Word of Blake terror-raids in the Free Worlds League, Perez
was a member of the police force. He had no true skills as an
infantryman though, and only truly shown during fights between
Battlemechs. His skills as a Mechwarrior are nothing extraordinary, but
they are above average. Perez likes his fights up close and personal,
using an antique 'mech for this. Of all of the 'mechs he can choose
from, Perez usually fights using an aging AS7-D Atlas. The 115mm
Autocannon provides ample short range firepower, while a LRM-20 rack
provides a long range capability to Perez. Even as old as the line is,
the AS7-D is nearly invulnerable, able to absorb astounding amounts of
ordinance.Pilot
Skills: 2 Gunnery / 3 Piloting
Phoenix Five:
Mechwarrior Blake had no real skills, but William took him in. A member
of the Steiner Military, Blake's clumsiness usually won him the job of
janitor. Under William's command, Blake's natural tendency for
accidents in the Battlemech got him a role during combat. The tiny
Dragonfly A Blake piloted is painted a brilliant bright red, and is a
serious distraction to enemies as the machine pinballs around the
battlefield. He cannot always control it, but the enemy cannot
concentrate on a single target with the "Fireball" flying every which
way, occasionally landing shots with its clan ER Medium Lasers.
The ultimate goal of the Pale
Horse is to help you get your goals. Have a nice day.
